Please read this disclosure carefully before buying any talent token on UPxMe. Talent tokens carry risk. You may lose part or all of the money you invest. Only commit funds you can afford to lose.
1. What you are buying
A talent token is a digital record of your stake in a verified player's journey on UPxMe. It is not equity, not debt, not a security, not a mutual fund unit, and not insurance. It does not entitle you to any ownership in any company or external venture of the player.
2. Market risk
Token prices are set by an automated market maker (AMM). Prices change as people buy and sell — they can rise or fall sharply, including to very low values. There is no guaranteed minimum price and no buy-back promise from UPxMe.
3. Liquidity risk
Liquidity comes from the AMM's reserve. Large or sudden sells may move the price significantly against you (slippage). In rare cases, the liquidity reserve for a particular player may be temporarily insufficient to fully execute a large trade at the displayed price.
4. Player performance risk
A player's career may not progress as expected. Injuries, controversies, loss of form, or a decision to leave the platform may cause demand (and therefore price) to fall. UPxMe does not warrant any specific performance outcome by listed players.
5. Earnings-share risk
Where a player has committed an earnings-share, distributions depend on the player's actual earnings and on funds reaching the platform. Earnings are not guaranteed and may be zero in any given period.
6. Operational risk
Although UPxMe uses bank-grade security, signed Razorpay payments, idempotent crediting, and paisa-precision math, no online platform is entirely risk-free. Outages, bugs, or security incidents may temporarily affect availability or transaction processing.
7. Regulatory risk
The Indian regulatory landscape for digital tokens, fan tokens, and creator monetisation continues to evolve. Future regulation may affect how UPxMe operates, which may in turn affect token prices and the availability of certain features.
8. Tax
Profits from token sales and earnings distributions may be taxable in your hands. UPxMe does not provide tax advice. Please consult a qualified tax professional regarding your obligations.
9. No advice
Nothing on the Platform — including featured lists, trending labels, analytics, or community posts — constitutes investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell. You are solely responsible for your decisions.
